Doesn't the new firmware upgrade raise the W? @NCV has one (but I am not sure if it is the s version.)

I have the original IPV4. It hasn't given me any problems and the vape quality is excellent. So yes would highly recommend it

Also have the original IPV 4 and agree with @NCV, haven't had any issues with it, EXCEPT for the fact that the IPV4s came out after I bought the IPV 4 :animad::anirofl:

What's the difference between the 4 and 4s - other than updated firmware (which can be done on the IPv4 anyway) ? Same chip too. Pioneer4you don't even have the "4s" listed as a product on their website?

    Very good Question!
I'm getting my iPV4s a bit later on (Its on-route as of 7AM) and will compare it side by side with an original iPV4 at the next vape meeting.

As far as I am aware its black :aniemo: but essentially, to the best of my knowledge and I stand to be corrected, the firmware update makes the ipv 4 and 4s the same.

And the new one has iPV4s on it... And they wised up, and omitted the charging board and cutout all-together from the design, just left the USB port for 'future upgrades"

The IPV4 and IPV4s are basically the same if you upgrade the IPV4 properly.

The IPV4 has a board in it that needs to be removed and only has ni200 and 100w settings at first.
Upgrade firmware and it has ti01 setting 100J in temp mode, and also goes upto 120W

IPV4s basically they took out the balance board, which was useless in the first place. and gave it the new firmware.

I have a IPV4 and its basically an IPV4s because I removed the balance board and upgraded the firmware.

As for the temp control, I Have tried a few times, I dont trust it at all. Not sure if its the IPV or temp control in general.

After trying mine, and eventually setting up Correctly (+ and - with new Ni atty to calibrate Resistance) it worked flawlessly!
Only problem is, I'm either coming down with a bad flu, or I'm allergic to Nickel.. :(

What REALLY sux, is I had no reaction using Ni OCC Coils in the SubTank Mini...
This only happened after my second build on the Goblin Mini. The first build was a single 2.5mm ID 8 Wraps 28G Ni200, second build was a dual coil, same specs, same wire, but started getting ill from using it exclusively at home. At work I only use Kanthal builds, and I feel fine...
    Weirdness...
Hope its just a passing phase, having lots of Nickel wire that just came in today....

Hopefully it is just your body adjusting to Nickel
