Just a Thread where users of the eVic VT can post their findings

Some short points from me :

I have now been using mine for over a Month and absolutely Love it.

Did jump out of temp mode once, but that was because the coil was not tightened down fully. When this happened the ohm reading fluctuated and the mod did what it was designed to do. Upon detecting a great change in ohms, it switched over to vw mode. Problem solved by tightening the coil.

Also have the initial fire at 30w issue, but as I vape around the 0.4ohm mark and normally between 27w - 35w the issue has not affected me at all.

Battery life is brilliant. 2 and a bit days before needing a charge.

Love the paint and the feel of the mod.

A tad bit on the heavy side.

Very happy to hear that the production models have been behaving themselves.

This always looked like a great device to me, and it's a pity that the pre-production models had so many issues.

I think I'll have a serious look at getting one of these now :)

I think if you look hard enough at any mod you will find flaws.

IPV D2 - looks cheap in some pics
Smok XCUBE 2 - Big and bluetooth seems to give issues on some phones.
REO - don't want to start a war here..

With so much choice out there, it ultimately comes down to taste. Don't like your current mod? Sell it and get something different. After all, a change is as good as a holiday. ;)

Totally agree, but the issues on the Evic pre-production models were show stoppers in some cases - they just died completely.

Glad they fixed that up - it's always a problem when using early release devices, you judge them unfairly

What really irks me is why would mod makers give a prototype to reviewers for reviews? Sure, I understand that they need feedback to get the gremlins out of the system, but then tell the reviewer that he will get another one to review once all the issues has been sorted out, and he can then review it.

Agreed, they should really have them "final" and without flaws. Issues are okay, but big flaws are a serious oversight. It can only harm their sales to do that. I suppose this industry moves at such a rapid pace that they sometimes have to do it that way, but it does not serve anyone in the long run o_O

Can you imagine how much sales they lost with giving those pre-production mods to the reviewers..

    Chinese people...Sometimes I wonder...

I wonder about them all the time...and then they release something new and shiny, and I forget again - and so goes the circle of life vape :kissingsmiling:
